Apple Mac Repairs Coorparoo
We repair and upgrade all Apple Macs, all models and different operating systems.
We are located at 48 Octantis Street, on the corner of Mars Street in Coorparoo.
Our workshop and office are located on the bottom level of our home. You will be coming to a three-storey grey residence. The workshop entrance is off Mars Street and is clearly signed.
Mac Repair Rates and Charges
The majority of Mac jobs are finalised within an hour or two. Our hourly rate is $150. Replacement parts, if needed for the repair of your Apple Mac, would be a further cost.
For all Mac IT services and repairs we do in our Coorparoo workshop, our labour is capped at 3 hours. We charge the same rate for mobile repairs. We do not charge travel time or a call-out fee for mobile repairs. There is, however, no cap on labour hours for mobile Mac repairs, upgrades or Mac data recovery.
If you have an older Mac and are considering a new purchase instead of repair costs, you can deliver your Mac to our workshop in Coorparoo. For $75 we will do a diagnosis for you. This means that you know beforehand whether or not it is going to be an expensive repair cost.
The diagnostic fee applies only if after the diagnosis you decide on purchasing a new Mac. If you decide that you would like us to repair your Apple Mac, then we won’t charge you the $75 diagnostic fee.
If you decide to purchase a new Mac, but request that we recover the data from your non-functioning Mac, we will charge you $145 in total. We will not charge the diagnosis fee.

As part or workshop service, we will always let you know how your repair job is progressing and never purchase parts without your approval. If a job is going to take longer than two hours, we will contact you first before proceeding.
Please note that for older Macs there may be problems obtaining Mac parts. Sometimes only refurbished parts are available and they usually only have a fairly short warranty. It could also take a couple of days for us to receive the particular part that you require. We have, however, sourced a reliable Mac part supplier who carries a range of Mac components and has to date supplied a reliable service.
